I have been toying with creating a blog dedicated to my posts concerning nature and environmental education. I already write about those things often at Alone on a Limb, but I also write there about politics, poetry, children's literature, and just day-to-day journal stuff.
So here is my trial.

I found your blog through Melissa Wiley's blog, and I love your writing (and what you're writing about). I'm guessing you're in Georgia? I live in the Nashville area, and I wanted to let you know about an event coming up on October 10 & 11 at my daughter's school, Linden Waldorf School (formerly Linden Corner School). Incidentally, Alison Krauss's child goes to school there! I saw you're a fan! Anyway, Joan Almon is coming to host a screening of the documentary "Where Do the Children Play?" and a panel discussion with environmental education "experts" that Friday evening, and there's a teacher continuing ed event on Saturday.
